New Leadership Development Programme launched
A new and exciting leadership development programme has been developed for staff who have managerial and leadership responsibilities. The approach taken helps participants from a range of backgrounds and from different levels within the organisation including team leaders, chargehands and supervisors develop key competencies. The programme is tailored to the client and addresses the need to develop open and transparent management approaches including using better communication skills to bring about improved performance as well as contributing to building strong teams. Helping Councils to implement change with engagement from the third sector
A range of facilitated half-day workshops have been developed for our local authority clients that address many of the challenges faced in the future in an austere environment of reduced budgets, fiscal pressure and changing political priorities.
Engagement with stakeholders, particularly community and voluntary sector partners, is a challenging area . All too often in the past consultation has appeared to be an add on to the change process and has therefore alienated key stakeholders at an early stage of the change process. In order to establish and maintain an inclusive and sustainable approach engagement must be a prerequisite in the project planning process.
Our workshops give senior officers and mangers the opportunity to identify and focus on the potential challenges faced in key areas and assist in planning for the future changes required. All our workshops are tailored to a local context and can also be adapted and delivered for senior elected members and partner representatives.
Our workshops are facilitated by experienced change management practitioners with wide experience of implementing change and improvement.
